FAQs

What is staging and why is it important?

We're so glad you asked! Staging is one of the most essential steps in prepping a house for sale. Many people assume staging means "decorating" and think they can easily stage on their own. However, staging is much more complex. Homes are full of things that speak to us, like family portraits, collections, and travel mementos. In addition, most buyers struggle to ignore an undesirable paint color or oddly placed furniture to appreciate a home's potential. While we all have our own personal tastes, not every potential buyer will share the same style, hence, staging transforms your home into a place that appeals to the maximum amount of buyers. Our expertise ensures that your home's best features come alive and creates an atmosphere in which potential buyers can easily envision themselves living there. If that doesn't convince you, consider this, according to a report by the National Association of Realtors, the majority of sellers receive increased offers in the value of their home of 1%-5% with many earning a 6%-10% more than unstaged homes. This could mean thousands more dollars in your pocket and a sizable return on investment just by letting us do the work for you.

How much does your service cost?

Our fee depends on multiple factors such as the distance of your property from our warehouse, the square footage of your home, and whether you have an excessive amount of stairs. As every home is different, a custom quote will be devised for you and submitted in a proposal which you will receive after the consultation. We strive to not only provide unparalleled staging, but a fair price.

How quickly can you stage a property?

We pride ourselves on getting things done quickly! Most often we can schedule the staging within a week of receiving a signed contract. The actual staging will be completed within 24-48 hours of moving the furniture in the home. It takes anywhere from 10-16 hours to move in and out of a home as well as 12-20 hours of staging time.

What happens during the consultation?

During the consultation we'll give you a sense of who we are and our vision for your home. We may make recommendations of improvements that will enhance your property, like painting, backyard maintenance, removal of window coverings etc. The consultation is complimentary and afterwards we'll provide you with a proposal.

How many people are involved in the staging of my home?

We have a full team dedicated to transforming your home which includes 2-4 movers and 2 stagers. While not part of our in-house team, we can recommend trusted painters, flooring companies, and cleaners if needed.

How many years of experience do you have?

We have 15 years of staging experience and decades of design experience. Need a reference? Just ask!
